February Fun

Cloud Dough was very popular with most of the children. This is very easy to make and a great activity to do at home during this cold winter when you can't get outside.

Just two simple ingredients:

2 cups of Flour and 1/4 cup Baby Oil or cooking oil.
WARNING: "If using baby oil, it could be harmful if ingested."

The children were excited to use the mirror as a drawing board with the dry erase markers.

A heart for Valentine's Day!

What a creation!

Mrs. Olafson introduced the concept of sink and float.
What do you think will float and what do you think will sink?

The students discovered that items made from plastic will float and items made from metal will probably sink. A plastic boat and cups floated on the water and the magnets and coins sank to the bottom.

The children are doing a great job taking caring of our fish. A different student feeds it everyday and always checks up to see if it is happy.

It was too cold to enjoy the snow outside so we brought some in.

The students discovered that their hands got too cold playing with the snow, so they decided to get their mittens and gloves on to warm up.  Great idea!!

Some of the students decided to make snow balls with the snow.
